If you have ever driven West past Frisco, this peak has been sure to catch your eye. It rises about 1800ft straight up from the West exit and it's East face is quite appealing to most any backcountry skier. I have been staring at her all season long and finally, the waiting had paid off. Today was the day. Eddie, Tony, and myself all met at the TH at about 8:30 and set off to summit. It was the perfect day out with clear skies, bright sun, and no wind. Ha, imagine that, no wind. Some steep skinning and a little over 2 hours later and we found ourselves atop the summit, drooling at the line that lied before us.
We found ourselves at the top section and measured it at 50 degrees! Yee haw
Summit.
Time to drop!!
Many options on this face. This could keep me occupied for quite some time...
